Lightest Double Stroller
When looking for a lightweight double-stroller that folds, the size and weight are important factors to consider. Picking double buggy travel system that is easy to handle and compact when not when not in use makes it much easier to fit in the trunk of your car, and to maneuver through airport gates and streets.
The best lightweight strollers feature an easy, light fold and self-standing mechanism to lessen the burden on parents' bodies. Several also have a wide range of seating configurations and can accommodate infant car seat carriers.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
The perfect product for families on the go. Lightweight and easy to carry in one hand compact fold. The front suspension and all-terrain wheel as well as the multi-position reclining seat, can accommodate children weighing up 50 pounds. Parent and child trays, large storage basket and 3-tier canopy that has a the ability to peek through the window for maximum sun protection.
The Cloud received one of the lowest scores in our quality tests due to its thin feel, hard plastic seats and a design that is old-fashioned. It's also expensive compared to other strollers with lighter weights which is why it's not a good choice if you're looking for an economical alternative.
It's not the tiniest stroller, but it's got enough features that it is worth considering. Its swiveling wheels make easy to maneuver it on flat surfaces. It also allows you to jump curbs without much effort. The low handle of the Cloud is a drawback, however; it's nearly at knee level and isn't adjustable. It's difficult to push it while your legs are dangling in this manner. And the lack of padding does not make it any easier.
In our tests during our testing, we found the Cloud to be easy to set up and open. It's a little more challenging to close, however. You need to slide a slider before you press a large white button to cause it to collapse. This can be frustrating especially if you're trying to manage kids while doing it.
The Cloud comes with a compact, but deep storage basket. It's large enough to accommodate an enormous diaper bag. The basket is a bit small and you might have to store something inside to reach the back. The Cloud comes with two tray for parents and children with two cup holders each, but they're too narrow to comfortably hold larger cups or bottles.

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS
Jeep Destination Ultralight is a lightweight double stroller with a minimalist style that's perfect for traveling. It's extremely light at 18lbs (lighter than some single strollers!) It folds flat to make it easy to transport and store. It also comes with independently reclined seats as well as large SPF 50 sunvisors with peekaboo window. The visors can be adjusted to accommodate children of different heights. It also has one-step linked parking brake and is Disney-size approved.

The swivel wheels on the Jeep are also fantastic for maneuvering over bumps and uneven surfaces. This stroller doesn't accept car seats. Your child must be at least six months old and possess a strong neck control in order to ride on the front seat. It does come with three panels of a nice sun canopy, though and each seat comes with its own snack tray and parent cupholders.
Another incredibly lightweight side-by-side stroller is the Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend. It's heavier than Kolcraft Cloud Plus, at 23 pounds. However, it's narrower and slimmer (26.5 inches wide!) It's packed with luxurious details that make it ideal for travel. It has a super simple fold, is very movable and fits into airplane overhead compartments and trunks easily.
The Joovy Kooper X2 tri-folds and is ultralight, like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double or Mountain Buggy Nano Duo. It's similar to Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS but has some key distinctions. It's also a bit more expensive, but it also has more maneuverability and a larger sun canopy. It also comes with a handy carry strap that can hold children up to 44 pounds per seat.
Summer 3D Pac for Infants CS+
Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is a stroller that is light packed with features. It's not just lightweight at just 13 lbs but also has a lot of storage, including cupholders for both parents and children as well as a sippy-cup pouch for children and a parent's storage pouch and more. The stroller can also be used with a child's car seat and features a flip-flop-friendly brake that is easy to engage. It's designed to adapt to your child from a newborn stroller to an adult stroller by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children 6 months old and older.
Another thing to note about this stroller is that it has swivel wheels and doesn't have any locking capabilities, so it might not be the best option for terrain that is rocky or hilly. It is able to maneuver well on pavements, as well as other smooth surfaces, so it's still an excellent choice for the majority of families.
This stroller is among the lightest double strollers, with full-size features in an elegant, compact design. It folds easily by one hand and then stored in the trunk or garage. It can also be used a travel stroller and is compatible with all car seats without the need for adapters.
The Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is unique from other strollers for travel because it features two separate seats that can each hold up to 100 lbs. The seats have individual leg rests, as well as three-panel canopies that include an open-top sunvisor and a peekaboo window.
The seats are cushioned to ensure your child's comfort. They also have a five-point safety harness that can be adjusted to three different height positions. Each seat comes with a built-in infant cushion, which is great for babies. The cup holders for parent and child, the cellphone holder and the large storage basket will be adored by parents. The stroller comes with the Yoyo+ Board which transforms it into a tandem.
Joovy Kooper X2
The Kooper X2 double stroller is a great choice for parents looking for a lightweight double that can carry two kids. Its sling-style seats are comfortable, and they provide the same amount of headroom as other double strollers. This allows kids to sit together. Contrary to other strollers with side-by-side seating, the Kooper X2 offers a fully reclined seat, which is ideal for napping. Its recline feature is easy to use, but it's not a perfect flat. Children who are taller may have a leg hanging when in the reclined position. It also comes with a large canopy that we found to be better in blocking out sunlight than other strollers in our best double strollers review.
The stroller is light enough to maneuver through door frames, which was a big issue for us with other models we tried. It folds up quickly, and its handlebars are close to the ground, making it easy transport. The only downside is the small storage space. When full of toys for kids it feels tight.

In our lab tests we take into consideration a variety of factors to determine the ease of use of a double stroller. This includes the ease of use to fold and set up, how easy it is to adjust the safety harness, and how to open and close brakes. We also carry and lift the folded walkers as if they were placed in a trunk and how to set up and remove a baby car seat if needed. We also assessed the durability and strength of the stroller and also whether the strollers have a parent tray which can be used by both children.
The Joovy Kooper X2 earned the top score for ease of use in our latest update of our top double strollers guide, as well as one of the top scores in our Strollers test program overall. Its simple-to-use design features one-hand, no tilt recline as well as an enormous canopy with ventilation mesh that is visible even when it's tilted. There are also separate kid trays, built-in cupholders and zipper pockets for parents and an enormous storage basket.
